'West Cambridge' masterplan requires concerted action

Article Abstract:

The University of Cambridge has launched a masterplan for its West Cambridge site, with the aim of creating opportunities for scientific advancement. The plans would provide new areas for academic use, along with residential units. However the plan is confined by remit limitations and there is concern as to how the continuity can be achieved to foster the development of appropriate, adaptable systems of building.

The first ever Snow Show hosted by two cities in Finnish Lapland opened after four years of planning, became a platform for international cross-disciplinary dialogue. The event was originated by Lance Fung, a New York gallerist and independent curator and featured interventions made from snow and ice.
