Article Abstract:

Recruitment for personnel in the UK corporate finance industry is growing, with many companies offering an increasing array of incentives to retain good staff. Recruitment consultants' offer banks and corporate finance departments their specialist expertise in finding the right type of professionals. Many of the major corporate finance institutions have had to undergo a period of reorganisation due to changes in senior staff. Corporate finance departments need certain types of employees, to offer clients a wide range of expertise, in order to keep their business and remain competitive.

Article Abstract:

Human resources departments may need to take advantage of skillful recruitment consultants when searching for corporate financiers. Recruitment agencies should follow a code of ethical behaviour and have sufficient expertise to find the type of individual required for corporate finance. Some agencies have expanded their operations into corporate finance employment without having the necessary expertise in the field. There is a shortfall of people wishing to go into the demanding work of finance and a lack of good candidates due to a previous reduction in recruitment.

Parc gets off to a flying start

Article Abstract:

Irish employment agency Parc Group was established in 1975 as part of airline Aer Lingus. Originally started to cope with the cyclical nature of the airline business, the Parc Group began by hiring out air staff to other airlines and branched out into engineering and medical markets. Following rationalisation within parent company Aer Lingus, the Parc Group was the subject of a management buyout funded by Mercury Asset Management and the Ulster Investment Bank. Details of the management buyout are presented.
