What's wowing them now

Article Abstract:

Canadian television networks spend substantial amounts of money and time in hosting presentations, reception and parties for media-buying executives and advertisers. They are entertained by the networks in appreciation for their business and strengthen the networks' brand for the coming year. Some media buying executives are reluctant to attend if the receptions have no content but are simply social gatherings. To ensure the attendance of media executives, some networks offer them the chance to meet famous and even infamous personalities.
