When cloves smell fishy

Article Abstract:

The son of Indonesian Pres Suharto developed a scheme to help the nation's clove farmers from plummeting clove prices. He developed a board that would act as a middle man between the farmers and the makers of clove cigarettes. The board was a monopoly which has since gone bankrupt.

The emperor's cloves: Indonesia

Article Abstract:

There are rumors that the Indonesian government is planning to place companies on probation if they have outstanding bank loans that go unpaid. A list of the corporate debtors was recently released, and Pres Suharto publicly criticized large corporations.

A puzzle unloched: fishy story

Article Abstract:

Evidence points to there really being some sort of Loch Ness Monster like creature off the coast of British Columbia. The creature has been called cadborosaurus, and there may be several. Photographic evidence is very strong.
