Zippos to go

Article Abstract:

Guidebooks have trouble keeping up with Vietnam. Lonely Planet's 'Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia: A Travel Survival Guide' offers detailed information that is mostly current, and usually interesting. Odyssey's 'Vietnam' offers great photography, a good historical summary and interesting sidebars. If you cannot afford the guidebooks elsewhere, wait to buy them in Vietnam where pirated editions are much cheaper.

The money pit: investors are losing millions on the movies, when not becoming patrons of schlock

Article Abstract:

Few people investing in films become rich from their investments. An example is the 1995 investment of Seagram's chairman Edgar Bronfman Jr. He sold $7 bil shares of Dupont which has doubled, for 80% of MGM which has lagging shares. This cost Seagram's stockholders $5 bil. Other examples are cited.
