Asia Standard International Group will launch at least 4 residential projects in the second half 1998. It expects to sell over 300,000 sq ft area in the current fiscal year. Projects include a commercial and residential building in Prince Edward Road jointly developed with New World Development, Westview Height in Belcher's Street in Western District, Hing Wah Apartments of Hing Wah Street in Shamshuipo, and Royal Knoll in Pak Fuk Tsuen in Fanling. Another projects involve in the sales of Peace Tower Homantin and Marina Lodge in Shaukeiwan will be undergone in current fiscal year. The company also plans to expand its hotel business in Hong Kong and the mainland. *

Sun Hung Kia Properties Ltd. will cut the price of its Scenic View units in Clear Water Bay. The units to be launched on 26 September 1998 is priced at HK$3,487 per sq ft. The 100 units out of 35 storey-blocks will first be offered for boost buyers' sentiment and sales volume. The company said the land cost is HK$2,200 per sq ft and the construction cost is at least 1,300 per sq ft in market price. *
