eWe don't miss cod here' - Boulogne trawler owner

Article Abstract:

Pierre-Georges Dachicourt, a Boulogne trawler owner and president of the French National Fisheries Committee, is alleging that when it comes to fishing, the European Union recognizes only the cod and hake, so its rules and regulations invariable hover around them. The favorable returns in catching squids and mullet are discussed and European Union is criticized for its ineffectiveness in curtailing overfishing.

The Danish fisheries industry, which has been sluggish over the past, is expected to rebound and be stronger as fisheries industry does not remain sluggish for a long time. The fisheries equipment manufacturers have been doing well by finding markets outside Denmark like Ireland, France and Scotland.
