Tai Cheung Holdings expects to obtain HK$800 mn sales from its commerical project including car parks at Tuen Mun Town Lot No. 391 with floor area of 520,000 sq ft. Moreover, projects in Tuen Mun Parkland Square, Tuen Mun Town Lot No 407 and 416, Southmark at Aberdeen will be developed. The group focus its effort in Tuen Mun since it forecasts that the property prices at Tuen Mun will be higher than in Shatin in 1-2 years time when transport facilities are improved. *

OEM business doubles Albatronics gain to $22.7m

Electronic products maker and distributor Albatronics (Far East) Co. posted a net profit of HK$22.7 mn for the year ended March 1998, 2.11 times the net profit for the previous year. Turnover increased 8.2% to HK$2.7 bn, while operating profit rose 28.7% to HK$23.1 mn. The company attributed its good performance to a rise in profit margin for its original equipment manufacturing operation. *
