AT&T will offer customers a chance to bundle up

Article Abstract:

AT&T will offer a one-rate service that will send customers one bill for their long-distance and wireless telephone calls. The company will start offering the service on January 31, 1999. AT&T will advertise the service during the Super Bowl on January 31. Customers will have to pay $29.99 a month for the Personal Network plan. AT&T in exchange will charge customers 10 cents per minute for almost all telephone calls.

Wall St. bets heavily on casino's new deal

Article Abstract:

The announcement of the merger of Penn National Gaming Inc. and Argosy Gaming Co. on November 4, 2004 resulted in rise in the companies' stocks with Penn National stocks rising to 26 percent and Argosy shares rising to more than 11 percent. The merger of the casinos would make Penn the third-largest casino operator in the country, with 20,000 slot machines and 7,00,000 square feet of casino space.

AT and T Corp. and Lenfest Communications Inc. seem finally ready to sell Suburban Cable to Comcast Corp. Suburban is the largest cable operator in the Philadelphia area with approximately 1.5 million subscribers.
