Price questioned as Comcast sells cellular business

Article Abstract:

Comcast Corp. announced SBC Communications's acquisition of its cellular telephone business. The purchase price was $1.67 billion. The move will greatly help SBC's attempts to establish a network of wireless telephone systems. Some analysts expressed doubt over the validity of the acquisition price. SBC acquired Comcast's Metrophone and Cellular One operations. According to a source, AT&T had also made an offer to buy Comcast's cellular telephone business.
