Disney boon for tiny town

The Walt Disney Co. shareholders' complaint against chairman Michael D. Eisner and his board for their costly hiring of Hollywood agent Michael Ovitz would be tried in the new $4 million Chancery Court in Georgetown, Delaware. The case would provide an economic development boost for an area dependent on low-paying jobs in the food and tourism industry.

HealthSouth will pay U.S. $325 million

Article Abstract:

HealthSouth Corp., operating rehabilitation hospitals, agreed to pay $325 million to settle charges that it overbilled the government's Medicare program. Jay Grinney, Chief executive Officer of Health South revealed that settling the federal case would be a key step toward clearing the company's name and reputation.

Ford can't use Futura name: Judge rules Pep boys auto parts chain owns it

Article Abstract:

Ford Motor Co-operation will have to come up with another name for its new mid-size family car sedan after a federal court ruled the Pep boys auto parts chain owns the name 'Futura'. Now the automaker will have to sell consumers on a new, yet-to-be announced name, losing the right to use a famous mark from the past.
