Pa. helps company to add tech jobs

Horsham, PA-based VerticalNet Inc., an online-business company, announced it would add 1,000 jobs over the next three years after the company received $3 million in cash and tax credits from the state of Pennsylvania. The firm intends to invest $12 million of its own in the expansion, for a total of $15 million.
