Phila. White Pages could turn yellow with age

Article Abstract:

Bell Atlantic Corp. has started distributing a special 18-month city of the Bell Atlantic White Pages Directory for Philadelphia, PA, which will last 18 months, instead of the usual year. According to company spokeswoman, Stephanie Hobbs, the edition was made as part of the company's efforts to standardize its phone directories. Hobbs said that the 18-month edition affects only the White Pages made for the city since the phone directories for suburban communities can be accommodated in the one-book White Pages and Yellow Pages.
