A love affair

Article Abstract:

Firms are beginning to utilize software programs in handling their cash management problems. In the case of German multinational firm Siemens, a decentralized payment execution network was built to efficiently collect data for its international and intra-company disbursements. Local agencies were also utilized to tap into the efficiencies of local payment systems. In the case of salon chain Creative Hairdressers, a simple but effective innovation called e-check is being used to efficiently handle payments from its several location sites.
