A quantitative analysis of kinase inhibitor selectivity

Article Abstract:

A wide diversity of interaction maps for 38 kinase inhibitors, quantified and differentiated by using the concept of a selectivity score is presented. The studies provide insight into therapeutic activity of kinase inhibitors to inhibit multiple targets and interaction of inhibitors with the human kinome.

Uninhibited antibiotic target discovery via chemical genetics

Article Abstract:

An integrated high-throughput screening and multicopy suppression method for concomitant identification of new antimicrobial compounds is presented. The studies show that the method assists in identifying potential resistance mechanisms of new antimicrobial compounds and their bacterial targets.
