Article Abstract:

Several large brands like Apple and Google, are taking steps to protect their brands and although this might seem heavy-handed, these companies are actually addressing some very appropriate trademark issues. Big brand owners have to police their brands to ensure that other companies do not register similar trademarks, thus making it difficult for the original owners to enforce their rights in the future.

Article Abstract:

Revenue & Customs has decided to suspend the use of electronic lodgement services from March 31, 2006. Some of the suggestions given by the National Audit Office in its review include that the Revenue should guarantee that its services are available and accessible at all times and a set of contingency plans should be ready in case of system failure.
