Accepting the mission

Article Abstract:

An effective mission should involve collective learning among all employees where each would understand the purpose of the organization. Initially, becoming a 'mission-driven' organization would require each person in the organization to have knowledge of and understanding of the mission to be able to harness the entire organization's collective energy and intelligence and direct them toward the mission's goals. An organization can help its employees understand its mission by communicating it clearly and regularly and by urging leaders to express it through their behaviors.
