Accountants who thrive on chaos

Article Abstract:

Management analyst, consultant, and author of Thriving on Chaos Tom Peters asserts that ten core management and operation concepts must be implemented to ensure competitive success. These concepts include: guaranteed employment, high incentives, and training personnel in multiple jobs. Peters asserts that implementation can and should be accomplished within 60 to 90 days or less. Peters offers additional insights, including: long range planning is not practical for achieving most goals, no personnel should be treated with contempt, there is an unnecessary mystique to many professions, and organization architectures should be flattened, with middle management excess eliminated.
