Advertising in traditional media can be just as beneficial for World Wide Web marketers as online banners and links. Web marketers point out that television and print advertising work well for Web businesses because of their wide audience reach. In contrast, online banners and links only reach the limited number of consumers who are online. In fact, Internet entrepreneurs suggest that every kind of affordable advertising should be considered. For instance, one company advertised in college newspapers for its job-recruitment Web sites.

Article Abstract:

The best performing Web sites in terms of business-to-business marketing via the Internet is ranked based on service, vision and hard work. There is much improvement in a number of areas in the electronic marketing field such as accepting payments online, the utilization of the Web site to distribute the product and to recruit employees. However, the use of the Web site for customer service dropped from 100% in 1997 to 96% in 1998. The process of list compilation is described.
