After Marsh, where's the love?

Article Abstract:

Joseph Plumeri, chairman and CEO of Willis Group Holdings Ltd., Gregory Case, president and CEO of Aon Inc., and Michael Cherkasky, chairman and CEO of Marsh Inc., present their views on the necessity of establishing confidence into clients and contingent commissions in the insurance industry. The three companies earlier stopped the practice of taking commissions from insurers, after Marsh Inc. executives expressed regret in a bid-rigging scheme that spoiled the fame of insurance brokerage industries.

The difficulties in planning risk management strategies for an organization, in the context of post September 11 disaster, are examined. Insurance companies and commercial offices are pitching in Congress to lengthen the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act (TRIA) for two more years.
