Northrop Grumman Corp., Baltimore, Md., is being awarded a $7,889,000 firm-fixed-priced-requirements-type-contract to provide for repair of the Dual Mode Transmitter applicable to the AN/APG-68 fire control radar on the F-16 aircraft. There were six firms solicited and two proposals received. Expected contract completion date will be 30 days after receipt of reparable end items or funded delivery order, whichever is later. Solicitation issue date was June 4, 1998. Negotiation completion date was July 14, 1998. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42620-98-D-0094).
