The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $79,071,065 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for Direct Manning Personnel from January through March 1999, in support of the Royal Saudi Air Force Peace Sun IX Program. These personnel will assist the Royal Saudi Air Force in the operation and maintenance of their F-15 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 1999. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 20, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Dec. 23, 1998. Pratt and Whitney San Antonio Inc., San Antonio, Texas, was awarded on Dec. 22 a $10,295,805 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for repair and overhaul of 555 combustion chambers applicable to the F100 engine on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. The work is expected to be completed in Jan. 1999. There was one company solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began Dec. 1997; negotiations were completed Dec. 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41608-99/D-0051).
