Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $14,559,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for research, data, and associated hardware in support of the Electro-Optical Warfare Technical Analysis Effort. This program encompasses Infrared Countermeasures research and development and testing in the Dynamic Infrared Missile Evaluation Laboratory. This was a Program Research and Development Announcement, there were three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2003. Solicitation issue date was May 21, 1998. Negotiation completion date is Sept. 25, 1998. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98-D-1367).
