American Ecology Corp

Article Abstract:

Five officers of American Ecology Corp have sold a total of 62,769 shares of their corporation's stocks at prices ranging from $13.38 to $11.50 per share between Dec 3 1992 and Feb 26 1993. The trend of insider stock disposition gives foreboding to the land fill operations company. The firm's stock price has progressively declined from as high as $17 in early 1992 and would indicate a decline in the company's competitive aspects.

American Ecology Corp

Article Abstract:

American Ecology Corp provides environmental services such as radioactive waste disposal. Subsidiary Officer Ronald K. Gaynor cleared out 1,000 shrares last Mar 1, 1993, at $12 then sold an additional 2,000 two weeks later at $10.50. Pres R. Lee Armbruster disposed 24,225 option-related shares at $11 7/8. These insider distributions occurring at low levels suggest the lack of positive fundamentals. Caution is recommended.
