Amidst the nuts 'n bolts lawn and garden gains ground

Article Abstract:

Hardware stores and home centers are offering more gardening supplies and equipment. A major reason for this is that most do-it-yourselfers who come into these establishments also maintain a garden or yard. A study by Lebahr Friedman showed that 71% of do-it-yourselfers maintained a lawn and 44.2% bought seed and fertilizer.
