Analysis of genomic context: prediction of functional associations from conserved bidirectionally transcribed gene pairs

Article Abstract:

The genomic context techniques support approximately 650 functional associations. The appearance of the gene information is utilized to display the effects of genome group where firstly the chromosomal closeness specifies gene coregulation in prokaryotes is self sufficient in relation to gene orientation and secondly adjoining bidirectionally specified genes along with the preserved gene orientation are effectively coregulated.

Generation of marker-free plastid transformants using a transiently cointegrated selection gene

Article Abstract:

Efficient methods are required for complete marker removal from plastid transformants, which is very essential, and the different methods included achieving the same are described. The generation of marker free chloroplast transformants in tobacco using the reconstitution of wild type pigmentation in combination with plastid transformation vectors prevents stable integration of the kanamycin selection marker.

Preventing gene silencing with human replicators

Article Abstract:

The transcriptional silencing and late replication can be prevented by DNA sequences that can initiate DNA replication (replicators). The replicators introduce epigenetic chromatin changes that facilitate initiation of DNA replication and affect gene silencing and this inclusion of functional replicators in gene therapy vectors provide a tool for stabilizing gene expression patterns.
