Analysts: North Korea outlook gloomy after U.S. election

Article Abstract:

Analysts believe that the new U.S. President will discover that there are no readily apparent solutions to the nuclear threat presented by North Korea. North Korea is likely to continue unabated its public boasts about weaponzing its nuclear materials generating a string of perceived nuclear crisis as a way to blackmail the U.S. and other nations into giving it aid money.

As Afghani election nears, drug issue remains

The voter registration is considered to be a tangible measure of progress toward creating a working democracy in Afghanistan. However, the problems such as poppy production, the high illiteracy rate, and terrorist remains uncertain. United states and other countries are ready to takle Afghanistans drug cultivation problem.

The World Policy Institute (WPI) reported that a majority of US arms sales to the developing world go to regimes defined as undemocratic by the Department of State. Billions of US arms to Afghanistan in the 1980s ended up empowering Islamic fundamentalist fighters across the globe.
