Animal cloning and the FDA - The risk assessment paradigm under public scrutiny

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will be reporting its risk assessment of the safety of diary and meat products derived from animals produced by somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) in the Draft Risk Assessment on Animal Cloning. The analysis has indicated that SCNT does not pose any risks either to animal health or to food consumption.
