Article Abstract:

L-3 Communications, Camden, N.J., is being awarded a $5,040,144 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 18 Mission Module Systems (MMS), which are shelters mounted on Bradley Tanks. Work will be performed in York, Pa. (75%) and Camden, N.J. (25%), and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 25 bids solicited on April 8, 1994, and seven bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-94-C-E011).

Allison Transmission Division, General Motors Corp., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded an $8,646,624 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 133 transmissions (X200-4A) for the M113 Family of Vehicles. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 15, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-97-C-T475).
