Article Abstract:

Raytheon Co., dba Raytheon Systems Co., Goleta, Calif., is being awarded $6,059,216 as part of a $22,354,292 firm-fixed-price contract for 172 Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) Standard Advanced Dewar Assemblies Type II (SADA II), to be awarded in the base period of the contract. The SADA II is used with the Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) HTI and the Improved TOW Acquisition System (ITAS). The contract includes range option quantities for up to 340 HTI SADA IIs and 164 ITAS SADA IIs. The cumulative value represents potential value if all options are exercised at total not-to-exceed prices. Work will be performed in Goleta, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2000. Bids were solicited on Oct. 9, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-99-C-J559).
