Article Abstract:

Lockheed Martin Corp., Huntsville, Ala., was awarded on June 30, 1998, a $437,859 delivery order amount as part of a $9,988,965 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The Threat Simulator Management Office of the U.S. Army Project Manager for Instrumentation, Targets, and Threat Simulators (PMITTS) has a requirement for analysis and simulator development in support of Air Defense Threat Simulators (ADTS). This procurement will provide analysis, design, fabrication, production, and support of test and support equipment used in developing, monitoring, and sustainment of threat simulators. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (55%); and Santa Ana, Calif. (45%), and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 5, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. ArmyAviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-98-D-A002).

TRW Inc., System Integration Group, Carson, Calif., was awarded on July 2, 1998, a $400,000 increment as part of an $11,300,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development of the Air & Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS). Work will be performed in Carson, Calif., and is expected to be completed by July 2, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 2, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-98-C-0219).
