Article Abstract:

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems Division, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $66,542,997 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to exercise Option 2 for the United States and Netherlands PATRIOT Radar Enhancement Phase III/Classification, Discrimination and Identification Phase III. Work will be performed in Andover, Mass. (35%); Waltham, Mass. (31%); Sudbury, Mass. (15%); Tewksbury, Mass. (10%); Quincy, Mass. (5%); and Bedford, Mass. (4%), and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on June 24, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH01-95-C-0446).

Article Abstract:

ITT Avionics Division, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a $5,400,000 increment of a $26,702,945 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee/cost-share contract for engineering and manufacturing development of the suite of Integrated Radio Frequency Countermeasures (SIRFC), a system for electronic protection against current and future radar directed weapon systems. Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 21 bids solicited on Feb. 14, 1994, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J. (DAAB07-84-C-M504).
