Article Abstract:

Intellisys Technology Corp.*, Fairfax, Va., and Government Technology Services Inc., Chantilly, Va., are each being awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price contract, DAAB15-99-D-0003 and DAAB15-99-D-004 respectively, together valued at $300,000,000, with each contractor having a guaranteed minimum of $100,000. The contractors will provide commercial personal computers, related peripherals, office automation software items, and installation services for various Department of Defense agencies. Work will be performed by both companies in Chantilly, Va. (85%), and at various locations inside and outside of the continental United States (15%), and is expected to be completed by March 25, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement in the Commerce Business Daily on Oct. 14, 1998, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command

Article Abstract:

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $6,261,111 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0114 to procure F414-GE-400 upgraded extended service hardware to support operational evaluation testing and two upgraded full authority digital electronic contracts under low rate initial production (LRIP) II. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (60%), Evendale, Ohio (22%), Rutland, Vt. (5%), Albuquerque, N.M. (4%), Madisonville, Ky. (4%), Hooksett, N.H. (3%), and Wilmington, N.C. (2%), and is expected to be completed in December 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
