Royal Ordnance North America Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with a cumulative total of $88,000,000, for RDX/HMX bulk explosives. Work will be performed at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Kingsport, Tenn. (60%); and Bridgewater, England (40%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. There were three bids solicited on April 1, 1998, and three bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-98-D-0005).

Work will be performed in Hartford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
