Article Abstract:
United Defense LP, Steel Products Division, Anniston, Ala., is being awarded a $5,442,113 modification of a not-to-exceed $10,884,225 firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an unpriced option for the overhaul/conversion of 143 vehicles within the M113 Family of Vehicles (105 each M113A3 and 38 each M1068A3). Work will be performed in Anniston**, Ala., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were five bids solicited on Feb. 5, 1993, and five bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-93-C-A018).
