BE Aerospace

Article Abstract:

BA Aerospace Inc., a leading manufacturer of aircraft interior products, is enjoying record high stock prices. The positive trend is credited to the company's acquisition strategy, global marketing campaign and efforts to control maintenance costs. Despite this, however, several insiders have either disposed of stocks or given notice of their intention to do so. These are Chrmn. Amin Khoury, Director Jim Cowart and Subsidiary Officers E. Schwartz and Bernard G. Jewell.

Signs of distribution at 6,000

Article Abstract:

The Dow Jones Industrial Average's achievement of the 6,000 level has been marked by a decline in the stock prices of various firms following the release of their financial reports for the 3rd quarter of 1996. Some of these include Pairgain, Cascade Communications, Sun Microsystems, Verifone and MDL Information Systems. Company executives may have anticipated the decline as insider selling activities significantly increased in the said period.
