Billion pound boost for Top 60 firms

Article Abstract:

Accountancy's 'Top 60 league table' reveals that total fee income for accountancy firms in 2006 has topped pound sterling 7.7 billion, around pound sterling 1 billion more than that of 2005. Sarbanes-Oxley and IFRS works are seen to be the driving forces behind the remarkable surge in fees.
