Advertisements with minimal background distractions deliver their message more potently by directing viewers' attention entirely towards the product. This principle was employed by advertisers in executing the ad for Caterpillar Inc's D4H/D5H TrackSkidder, in violation of traditional heavy equipment advertising technique. Theresult was a cost-efficient, visually attractive and eye-catching advertisementthat effectively accomplishes its purpose.
