City without limits

Article Abstract:

The environment for each episode of 'Futurama' is disposable, according to Claudia Katz, lead producer of 'Futurama' at Rough Draft Studios. She emphasizes that it is very difficult to design the future, as it is impossible to define the future except through things that exist now or through inventions that have a second incarnation. She recognizes that humour is important, and states that contrasts are always funny.

Gedeon Maheux, president of Icon Factory, believes there will be a new type of information architecture, which will have to be defined with signage.
