Article Abstract:

Many architectural designs that bring together a number of well-known architects are never actually built. Although the projects as designed on paper may gain attention in trade journals, books, museums and exhibitions, they more often than not are never actualized. One problem may be the colliding egos of too many big names working on the same project. Another stumbling block is trying to create a sense of cohesivness out of so many competing voices. Article provides a number of examples of this trend.
