Coming out of the cold: EELEX growth marks Russian revival

Article Abstract:

The gaming and amusement industries in Russia have continued to grow since the economic crisis of 1998. Many of the games in the country are outdated, and operators are taking advantage of the favorable tax environment to invest in new technologies. The upcoming Eastern European Leisure Exhibition in Moscow will feature many of the latest technologies and solutions.

The fourth annual International Photo Play Congress held in Spain was sponsored by funworld AG. Over 17,000 Photo Play terminals are networked around the world, and funworld plans to continually update the terminals. Funworld also announced a new company structure and network cultivation plan.
