"New" data sources for research on small business finance

Article Abstract:

There are several micro data sets that economists may use to study small business financing dynamics and characteristics. These data sets are the the 1995 Survey of Consumer Finances, the 1993 National Survey of Small Business Finances and the Bank Call Report data on small business lending. These data sets cover information that can help economists learn more about the dynamics of small business finance and its characteristics.
