Concept Displays will feature the Gas Pump 108 sunglass display, as its feature merchandising unit at the 1999 POPAI show. Aimed at vehicle-related merchandisers such as car washes, truck stops and convenience stores with gas retailing operations, the Gas Pum 108 is engineered to create a distinct, high impact that stimulates impulse shopping. The display encompasses steel gray color panels to accommodate different 108 sunglasses; a gas pump globe that features the customer logo; a revolving base that mimcs a white wall tire and tread; and an authentic gas nozzle and hose.

Seiko Kinetic and Pulsar Solar banners
Article Abstract:
Abstrategy Design & Manufacturing created a banner system that was designed to enhance excitement at the point of sale for the new Seiko Kinetic and Pulsar Solar watch collections. Featuring vivid colors that were applied on hand-sewn satin banners using 4-color silk screen process, the banner systems were given free to retailers who bought more watches, as part of a retailer incentive program. Also featuring powder-coated wire stands were specially designed to balance easily, the banner systems are available as a 27-inch counter banner and a 72-inch floorstand banner.

Stor-Rite Metal Products has developed a heavy-duty gondola-styled merchandiser called Huckster. It can be used as a free-standing display unit or as an in-line fixture for use with heavy products. The upper shelves are adjustable in one-inch increments and mount both flat and angled downward for gravity feed. Huckster is available in heights of 54 and 66 inches, at widths of 36 and 48 inches, and at depths of 16, 18 and 22 inches. It is also available in the almond and walnut brown colors with white peg panel.
