Article Abstract:

The consumer products Best of Category award in the 39th Annual Design Review went to a CPR mannequin by Laerdal California Inc for pure functionality. Other products won awards for their innovation, ergonomics, engineering and materials use, and aesthetic value. One new trend is collaboration with the military industry for commercial applications. Winning products included cars, clocks, computer equipment, binoculars, a luggage cart, bicycles and accessories, vases, and home entertainment equipment.
