Corporate financing focus u growth in credit derivatives begins attracting the attention of policymakers, regulators

Article Abstract:

Credit derivatives are a means of corporate finance and hedge-fund investments. The rapid growth in this form of corporate finance and corporate debt is causing concerns in banking sector which is wary of the delays and errors in this type of finance. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York called a meeting on September 15, 2005 to resolve the issues related to credit derivatives. The role of Counterparty Risk Management Policy Group in the growth of credit derivative sector is also discussed.
