DIMA offers full day of sessions, roundtables

Article Abstract:

The DIMA Fall Conference in Miami Beach, FL, held on Oct 3, 1999, devoted a day of sessions with concentration on retail and commercial imaging. Questions regarding digital imaging copyright issues during the general session were answered by PMA legal counsel Philip Moilanen. A notice through encryption, watermarks or digital objects should be included by the digital imager to protect his or her own work, Moilanen added.

For instance, a select corporate consumers was offered an image management/databse system in January 1999. The image management/database system lets corporate staff reviews and downloads images. On the other hand, Filmet has the capability to retrieve the images for a job.
