A new spin on bid sets

Article Abstract:

The US Army Corp of Engineers' electronic bid set (EBS) system simplifies the bidding process to save costs associated with time and money. Construction documents and other related data integrated into the EBS system allow more people to view the materials. The system is supported by a number of computer programs and a CD-ROM to accommodate storage space requirements and production concerns. The system is user-friendly and is anticipated to be a significant help to engineers in the quest to promote public health, safety and welfare.
