They explain the reasoning behind the sale of the management consultancy division, Cap Gemini, for 11.5 billion pounds sterling. A fight for survival

There are fears if the US Securities and Exchange Commission goes ahead with their plans to make auditors independent practitioners the very important non-auditing skills would be lost. Most of the major accountancy firms also offer consultancy work to non-audit customers.
