Just enough delivery

Article Abstract:

De Telegraaf, a newspaper publisher based in the Netherlands, is reliant on the software package dubbed JED, which is short for Just Enough Delivery. The software system was jointly produced by the Dutch Foundation for Neural Networks known as SNN and SMART Research BV of Nijmegen of The Netherlands. It is actually a marketing tool which can help the media company determine the type of sales strategy applicable at a given time. Being based on a neural network statistical paradigm, it can utilize previously-gathered data to produce new conclusions.

Pumpkin Patch holiday pages part of yearlong promotion

The 'Pumpkin Patch' special section proved to be a success for Community Newspapers of Tigard, OR, and its advertisers. 'Pumpkin Patch' focuses on local pumpkin sellers and is published before Halloween, the peak season for pumpkin buying. The special feature is highlighted by a full-color advertisement from Fir Point Farms and the 'Pumpkinfest' slogan. The 'Pumpkin Patch' advertisement runs throughout October each year and brings in almost $100,000 in revenues for Community Newspapers.
