E-COM & Telemarketing Form a Growing Team

Article Abstract:

Monthly statements, advertising messages, overdue payment notices and other letters that can be generated from a computer can be sent by electronic mail. Introduced in Jan. 1982, electronic computer originated mail (E-CON) can provide two-day delivery, by the United States Post Office, of messages within the continental United States. Printing, enveloping, stamping and mailing are all steps in the E-COM service that can save a telemarketing firm a great deal of time and money.

The Team Incentive: An Alternative Motivational Approach

Article Abstract:

Some businesses are switching from the traditional telemarketing approach to team oriented incentive programs. With the team approach, telephone sales reps receive a bonus when group sales reach a quota. All reps benefit regardless of who makes the sale. Team incentives have resulted in increased sales, decreased costs per sale, and in a decreased need for management to discipline employees.

The Incentive Point System: An Objective Approach to Increased Prductivity

Article Abstract:

Small losses in work time are referred to as non-working time spills (NWTS). Such spills include tardiness, long lunches, leaving early, and more. In response to these losses, an Incentive Point system (IPS) was developed. Its three purposes are: to eliminate ninety per cent of wasted time, to reward the deserving, and to provide minor sanctions for abuses.
